Fulfilment Centre


One of Jola’s partners was approached by a leading online supermarket to provide connectivity for their new fulfilment centre. The site prepares 65,000 orders per week for over 600,000 online customers. A team of 700 robots is used to prepare orders and they have to be in constant communication with the operating platform, which is why reliable connectivity was essential.

There was no fibre available at the site so the end user turned to 4G.


The end user required reliable connectivity to be installed very quickly and estimated they would need 10TB of data.

The Solution

Jola provided multi-network e-SIMs with static, no-NAT, Public IP addresses. Our eSIMs are network-agnostic and un-steered. Data is managed within Mobile Manager, an online management portal for ordering and managing estates of SIMs.
