Product Manager

Over the last twelve months we’ve launched an average of two new products per month. In particular, we are experiencing tremendous growth in M2M, IoT and Mobile Internet services and this is a major area of focus.  We are working with a number of mobile operators to deliver unique and innovative services to our channel partners.  We are also developing some unique cloud services with a particular focus on the Microsoft cloud platform.

To cope with our increased workload and ensure that our products are the best that they can be, we are now recruiting for a Product Manager.

The salary will be commensurate with experience and consist of a basic salary plus an annual performance related bonus based on achieving agreed objectives.  Jola provides all employees with an attractive benefits package including pension, private healthcare, life insurance and access to perkbox.

Responsibilities and Duties

– Understand customer needs through close communication with our sales team and our partners

– Develop new products and product enhancements to better meet the changing customer needs

– Develop commercial models to determine product costs and propose product pricing

– Work with our marketing team to produce excellent product marketing materials

– Work with our suppliers to keep abreast of product development and commercial opportunities

– Work with our internal and external software developers to ensure products can be easily ordered and managed

– Work with our billing team to ensure that our new products can be billed accurately and efficiently

– Attend industry conferences and symposia to learn more about what is happening now and in the future

Qualifications and Skills

– Experience of the Internet and telecoms market – ISP, cloud, fixed line or mobile

– Excellent Internet and IT skills – everything we do is cloud based

– Excellent Microsoft Office skills – ability to demonstrate experience of analysis or forecasting using Excel

– Ability to work without close supervision whilst accepting responsibility for achieving agreed objectives

Partner Manager - North

This is a field-based role covering the Northern Territory. The right candidate must have experience in mobile/IoT, hosted voice and connectivity selling into the MSP, IT reseller and voice reseller channels. The main purpose of the role is to build strong relationships with partners at all levels from CEO/MD down to Sales, Operations and Support.

  • – Build and maintain senior level relationships with large MSPs

Demonstrating and Training

  • – On-ramping of new Partners to help them start selling Jola Products
  • – Training of new products as they are launched
  • – Re-activating and energising dormant Partners

Planning and Administration

  • – Responsible for updating accurately Partner and prospect databases via CRM
  • – Liaise with internal sales to target Partners with the most potential
  • – Organise meetings with Partners and their end users
  • – Follow up actions from meetings and training

Joint Selling

  • – End-user meetings to help partners sell
  • – Joint partner and end-user conference calls
