Business Development Director – Major Accounts

This is a field-based role covering the UK with one day a month in the Stapleford office. The main purpose is to prospect MSPs, ISPs and Distributors with a turnover of more than £100m to build trusted relationships across all levels with the goal of choosing Jola to be a strategic supplier of IoT, M2M and Mobile Data services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Account Prospecting

Forging strategic relationships with your prospects

Regular meetings with your targeted MSPs ISPs and Distributors

Attending exhibitions and shows to form touch points with your prospects

Working with the CEO, CTO and CSO to help build relationships within prospective accounts

Planning and administration

Responsible for creating and updating account development plans.

Working with the CSO planning activity with prospects

Participate in internal training once a month

Working with the marketing team to ensure we are targeting the right prospects

Using MegaBuyte and LinkedIn to help identify opportunities as they emerge

Critical Personal Attributes

Educated to degree standard or proven achievement in identical role

Must be willing to work away from home for several days at a time if necessary

Internal Account Manager

This is an office-based roll at our HQ in Stapleford. The main purpose is to manage signed Jola resellers, keeping them up to date on new products and developments and train them on how to use our portals. You will also assist the partner with identifying opportunities in their base and helping them be successful with the Jola product set.

Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrating and training

  • On-ramping of new partners to get them selling Jola products
  • Training of new products to your assigned accounts as they are launched
  • Following up assigned leads and prospects
  • Assisting partners and their teams to identify opportunities, providing commercial and product support

Joint selling

  • Teams webinars and conference calls with partners

Planning, administration and personal development

  • Responsible for updating accurately partner and prospect databases
  • Liaise with sales management to target partners with most potential
  • Follow up actions from meetings and training
  • Participate in internal training at least once a week

Presales Consultant

Jola Cloud Solutions is an award winning, fast growing channel only supplier of Mobile Data, M2M, IoT, Internet and cloud communication services.  We put our partners in control by providing products that they can order and manage in real-time via our industry leading provisioning portals.

We work with over 1000 partners to service the communications needs of 1000s of end-user businesses including many globally recognised household names.

We have a broad portfolio of products and services, most of them developed in-house.  In particular, we are experiencing tremendous growth in M2M, IoT and Mobile Internet services and this is our major area of focus.  We are working with a number of mobile operators to deliver unique and innovative services to our channel partners.  We are also developing some unique cloud services with a particular focus on adding value to the Microsoft Office365 and Amazon Web Services platforms.

To cope with our increased workload and ensure that our partners and their customers get the right mix of products and services we’re recruiting a new Pre-sales Consultant.

We invite applications from experienced pre-sales consultants with a track record or from applicants that have a background in this industry but are seeking to move into a pre-sales role.

Responsibilities 

  • Understand customer needs through close communication with our sales team and our partners
  • Explain the features and benefits of our products to our partners
  • Be the customer facing technical expert helping partners choose the most appropriate product(s) based on their requirements
  • Work with our internal Product Development team to keep abreast of new products and product enhancements
  • Feedback to our internal Product Development team about new requirements or product improvements
  • Work with our suppliers to keep abreast of changing technologies and capabilities

Partner Manager ‘UK Based’

This is a field-based role covering a defined territory within the UK with one day a month in the Head Office. You will be responsible for managing signed Partners, prospecting and converting leads as well as helping to identify target Partners and sectors including MSP’s ISP’s and Telecom resellers. You will be responsible for your own revenue targets, and must be able to demonstrate a history of strategic planning and achieving targets and goals.

  • Managing and maintaining relationships with strategic Partners
  • Generating new business sales and growing revenues from your Partner base
  • Networking and prospecting target sectors and Partners
  • Updating and reporting activity on the CRM of current Partners and prospects.
