Rob Stevens has over 20 years of experience in IT and operations and has been a part of the Jola leadership team since 2016. As Chief Operations Officer, he oversees the partner experience at Jola, driving improvements in provisioning and technical support to ensure partners get the best possible service.
Rob began his career in IT at Derby County Football Club before being recruited to Griffin in 2000 by Jola co-founder Adrian Sunderland. During his time at Griffin he held a wide range of roles spanning account management, internal sales and customer services, ultimately leading a three-tier technical support department. That breadth of experience across both commercial and operational functions gives him a uniquely well-rounded perspective on how to run an effective, partner-focused operation.
One of Rob’s greatest strengths is identifying and developing talent. He has a strong track record of recruiting apprentices and junior support staff and guiding them through to second and third line engineering roles and beyond. At Jola he has built on this with a structured apprenticeship programme that has successfully brought new talent into the operations team.
