Why am I being asked for a passcode?

When you first access your voicemail service you will asked to enter a passcode.

This must be 6 digits and not contain any ‘similar’ numbers (e.g. 123456 / 000111 / 010101). We usually recommend a memorable date.

After your initial access to the service, you will only need this passcode to access voicemails remotely however we recommend that you set up voicemail-to-email service to prevent the need to dial in to check if you have a voicemail.
