They required a cost effective and reliable solution for Healthcare Managed Smartphones within Care Home settings across the UK to facilitate data access when out of WiFi range. The smartphones are used to track resident care data and to send alerts when residents press an alarm or require assistance. They are also used as a communication tool between staff within the setting.
The legacy solution offered no account management and was expensive. There was no visibility across the estate of SIMs which led to regular overage charges. There were also delays in activating SIMs.

Jola’s Solution
Jola proposed 3MB EE SIMs as the most cost-effective option to meet the requirements. An aggregated pool of data was also included to eliminate overage charges. Blaucomm now have greater control and visibility across their estate of SIMs. Utilising Mobile Manager they are able to handle SIM activations, ceases, suspensions, reports, alerts and bolt-ons. This has reduced activation delays, increased productivity and reduced overage charges.
